About Us

Mission and Vision:

At SAPA, our mission is to promote and protect the health and well-being of all children. We strive to unite paediatricians, parents, policymakers, and children by advocating for children's rights, advancing education, and fostering collaboration with like-minded partners who share our vision.

Our Objective: Striving for Thriving Kids

At SAPA, we believe that for every child in South Africa to thrive, the paediatric community must come together—sharing knowledge, collaborating on solutions, and supporting one another. We bridge gaps across the healthcare landscape: between paediatric professionals, between public and private sectors, and between healthcare providers and families.

Our goal is to spotlight the efforts within the paediatric community, connect resources with areas of need, and ensure our actions are always informed, current, and focused on the best interests of children, their families, and society. Where children's rights are at risk, we will advocate boldly, giving voice to the most vulnerable in our community. Focusing on healthier and happier children will in turn build a thriving South Africa.
