The South African Paediatric Association (SAPA) is committed to contribute toward creating an enabling environment for children in South Africa and beyond to thrive. In addition, SAPA is aligned to the global vision of fostering environments in which we can achieve transformation.
We believe that this vision is shared by the child health community and to that end, we have created a platform that unites the child health leadership in South Africa, allowing for coordination of efforts towards a common goal and allowing for strength in numbers to the achievement of better outcomes for our children.
SAPA is also committed to promoting unity within the paediatric community, to advocate for the rights of children and to provide quality education to child health providers in South Africa and beyond. Collaboration with other paediatric organisations makes it easier to address challenges, strengthening cohesion and advancing child health.
The unity component of this vision aims to involve all organisations and associations who are aligned to the vision. Together, our actions are more powerful and the voice representing this vulnerable population becomes stronger.
